What is Internet TV? 

A “smart TV” is the home television equivalent of a Smart Phone. It’s a TV that accesses and displays Internet content along 

with conventional television channels. So in addition to their usual TV shows, your customers can enjoy such essential 

web-based services as YouTube, Netflix®, Skype 2 , Pandora® and Hulu Plus 1 . 

Typically, Smart TVs also support DLNA ® connectivity for network access to your personal entertainment content: photos, 

videos and music. By downloading a free app for either Android TM or Apple ® iOS phones, you can also use your smart 

phone as a TV remote control 4 . 

As you will see, Sony smart TV satisfies all of these basic requirements, and does much, much more.

If you’ve been around television sales, you’ve probably noticed that Sony has updated our smart TV feature names. We’ve 

done it to accommodate the launch of Sony Internet TV powered by Google TV , to anticipate the launch of the Android 

Market TM for Google TV and to take advantage of phrases that consumers recognize and appreciate. 

• “BRAVIA® Internet Video Link” became “BRAVIA® Internet Video” and now “Sony smart TV.”

minor distortion and the LG failed to display any Flash® video at all.

Photo sharing sites. The Internet has reinvented the photo album but Samsung has hardly noticed. Samsung gives you

“Google TV Remote” app 4 . Download the free “Google TV Remote” app and use your Android or Apple® iOS phone 

as a fully functional remote. Use the mouse pad, arrow keys, and the full range of buttons. You can even use voice search 

and sharing. 

Intel® Atom 1.66 GHz processor. Quickly load websites and stream video with the power of Intel Inside®.
