End-users in the low end to midrange segment are faced with
many challenges surrounding their tape backup solutions. As
storage capacity requirements continuously increase, backup
windows decrease, and budgets constrict to their lowest possible
limits. End-users need a tape backup solution that will allow for
higher capacity backups, within a shorter period of time, while
reducing overall costs. Unfortunately, this market has traditionally
been limited to low capacity and performance solutions at an
economical price, or higher capacity and performance solutions at
a premium price.

for, such as the compact form-factor, Advanced Metal Evaporated
