Strong against causes of allergies, gentle on the
environment:
AEG presents new Öko Lavamat models
Anti-allergy program against pollen and mites / SuperEco
program and turbo tumble dryer save on electricity and
time
A cough, itchy eyes and skin rashes – every fifth person in Germany suffers
from an allergy. The triggers are particularly fond of making themselves at
home in clothing and bed linen. They usually cannot be fully eliminated with a
standard washing program. Reason enough for AEG to declare war on the
allergens. A new line with six models covers a wide range of needs. Two
front loaders and a top loader with an anti-allergy program ensure deepcleansed
laundry and easy breathing. Two new top loaders with the new
SuperEco program help to reduce energy consumption by up to as much as
80%. Those who only have space for one machine can choose the new turbo
laundry dryer which now holds far more clothing. All five models are on show
in Berlin at this year’s IFA from 4 to 9 September.
AEG Öko Lavamat 74650 H and 72650 H
Whether allergies are against dogs or cats, mites or pollen – with the new
AEG washing machines these aggravating beasts now don’t stand a chance.
The anti-allergy program deactivates and virtually completely removes
allergens, residual detergent and even water-insoluble particles. What is
special about the program: in the main washing cycle, the washing
temperature of 60°C is maintained particularly long, then gently cooled down,
after which a special rinsing program with four rinsing cycles is operated.
This ensures that the allergens are optimally inactivated and rinsed out. With
the anti-allergen washing program by AEG, you will reliably break the trigger
chain of allergic reactions and events to make deep cleansing create quality
of life. The effectiveness of the program has been confirmed by the British
Allergy Association, which engaged the University of Worcester to conduct a
test.
In order to prevent nightly attacks of sneezing and coughing, the new Öko
Lavamat has an additional program that ideally cleans pillows and duvets
with down or synthetic fillings. A new 20-minute fast program is absolutely
ideal for getting residual chemicals from production out of unworn textiles or
for quick washes in between. The maximum load for this program is three
kilograms.

Certified energy efficiency class A, with levels even another 20% below those
specified, and fitted with the Silence Motor, the Öko Lavamat 74650 H
operates at 1400 rev./min. and will be available from September. The RRP is
€ 729. For an RRP of € 669 the model (72650 H) is also available at 1200
rev./min.
AEG Öko Lavamat 47230 H
Top loader fans will love the Öko Lavamat 47230 H. This model is also
equipped with the anti-allergy program and a Silencer Motor and is rated in
the best energy-efficiency class. The maximum load volume is five kilograms,
the maximum spin speed is 1200 rev./min. The 47230 H will also be available
in retail stores from September for an RRP of € 849.
AEG Öko Lavamat 48540 A and 47430 A
The two top loaders with a Super Eco program are extremely economical
when it comes to energy consumption. Energy consumption can be reduced
by up to 80% below that of a standard 40°C wash in combination with special
cold-wash detergents and the revolutionary full-wash program for cotton and
other easy-care fabrics. Only 0.1 kWh is consumed per washing cycle, which
is less than any other cold-wash program. An overall operation time of only
65 minutes is sufficient to get the washing completely clean. Each model
holds up to six kilograms of laundry and both are classified energy-efficiency
A, with the consumption levels being reduced by another 20%. Both
appliances will be available in retail stores in autumn. The RRP for the 48540
is € 1,349 and € 1,049 for the 47430 A.
The 48540 has a four-line LC graphic display and a unique spin speed of
1500 rev./min., giving it an unrivalled position on the market. This rates the
machine spin efficiency class A. It also has two memory programs which can
save individual “favorite” programs. The required end-of-program time can be
pre-selected with the built-in timer. The 47430 A spins at a 1400 rev./min.
AEG Lavamat Turbo 14950 A
Washing and drying in one go – this has now been made possible in a nonstop
washing and drying cycle for up to six kilograms of laundry. Ideal for
those who have to go out to work: go out in the morning and take the dry
washing out of the machine in the evening. The machine even holds as much
as up to eight kilograms in the washing cycle. Graded energy efficiency class
B and wash performance class A, the AEG Lavamat Turbo 14950 A has
excellent consumption data to make it attractive for consumers (102 liters
and 6.2 kWh for washing and drying an eight kilogram load). Increasing the
load capacity means that more washing can be “run through” per cycle to cut
energy consumption even more. A flow sensor controls the volume of water
required by the washing program. The quiet Silence Motor suppresses
annoying noises and the modern Aqua-Control system protects the machine
from water damage. Various stain programs and the “Easy iron Plus“
program are other features of this multi-talent. The AEG Lavamat Turbo
14950 A will be available in retail stores in autumn at an RRP of € 1,299.
