Dakar XLT 3.0
New for ’04, the Dakar XLT 3.0 is our pull-out-the-stops
5-inch-travel full suspender. We redesigned the rear triangle
and seatstay pivot from last year’s award-winning Dakar XLT
platform, with beefed-up stays and sealed bearings throughout,
for toughness and durability. A Fox TALAS RL shock adjustable
for 90-125mm of travel and matching TALAS RLC fork good for
80-125mm of travel lets you change ride height and bike geometry
to suit the terrain you’ve suited up for. And we spec Mavic’s top
shelf CrossMax XL UST disc wheels, Avid’s new Juicy Seven
brakes, and a Shimano XTR/XT drivetrain. Absolutely, the highest
performing parts from the best in the business.
