LADY BLUES HONORS<br />

Laura Klamm (below) was inducted into the <strong>Washburn</strong> <strong>Athletics</strong> Hall of Fame<br />

on Feb. 14, 1998.<br />

Klamm was a three-time NAIA All-American in <strong>softball</strong> and a member of the<br />

NAIA Hall of Fame.<br />

She had an all-time pitching record of 79-27 and led the Lady Blues to two<br />

NAIA national tournament appearances in 1985 and 1986. Klamm was named<br />

the NAIA tournament most valuable player in 1985 and was also selected to the<br />

all-tournament team as a senior in 1986.<br />

In addition to her off-field accomplishments, she was a NAIA Academic All-<br />

American in 1986. Her jersey number “17” was retired following the 1986 season.<br />

<strong>Washburn</strong> finished as the national runner-up in 1985 and was fifth in 1986.<br />

Laura Klamm was a three-time NAIA All-America selection in <strong>softball</strong><br />

and named to the NAIA Softball Hall of Fame.<br />
