PRESENTATION of DBGÁZ Ltd.
The Co. DBGÁZ Ltd. has been founded in year 1998 upon on a request of municipalities for
natural gas service in the region of South-Baranya. The expressed request was the supply of
the region with natural gas via pipeline.
The ownership structure of DBGÁZ Ltd. is as follows: GENE Trading Ltd. 99,9%, 0,1 %
Imre Nagy as a private person who performs the managing responsibilities as well.
Since in the county Baranya the Dél-Dunántúli Gázszolgáltató Rt. (South-Transdanubian Gas
Servicing S.A.) has taken the responsibility of gas servicing, the DBGÁZ has looked for roll
of servicing in other regions of the country.
The „brain” of our company has been collected from well trained, experienced professionals,
left the „TIGÁZ SA” in the early 90’s. The performance, flexibility of these people, their
attitudes towards the market was exceptional in this profession. The yearly development of the
DBGÁZ Ltd. was dynamic.
In year 99’ we have got the gas servicing license from the Hungarian Energy Board. The
declaration (no.: 126/1999) was issued on 17 th November 1999.The operational license has
been issued for 13 villages of County Nógrád:

The deadline of finalization of this operation (wiring the 13 villages into the gas servicing
system) was 31 st December 2001. The investment of net value of 795 Mio HUF had been
finalized in time and we could start with gas servicing
In the meantime we have prepared a new investment: thorough modification of our original
gas servicing license No. 1 (2/2000 declaration) has been issued for 42 villages of County
Zala as follows:

In this county we have constructed some 350 Km long gas pipeline in agreed time. The total
costs of this investment was around 1,5 Mrd HUF and it was financed by the DBGÁZ. The
investment has met the satisfaction of both the municipalities and the consumers as well.
The company has opened a representation in the “center” of the gas servicing region, in
village Bak. All working activities were controlled and coordinated from there, they were
finished in time and for the heating period the gas servicing was started. At this time we have
supplied some 1.500 consumers (household) with gas. Their number had been expanded day
to day. The servicing run professionally.
Meanwhile a new project was started: in the regions of Nádasd, Bajánsenye and Gyékényes.
A new license (declaration’s No.: 32/2001, issued on 29 th March 2001) has included 22 new
villages of County Zala and Vas. These are as follows:

In year 2001 we have started two projects at the same time. We have set up our offices in
county Vas and Nógrád. These operational centers have got the job of coordination, control
and data servicing. In both centers we run modern consumer’s servicing desks. In all cases we
could finish the investments in right time. The total investments costs of the 179 Km long gas
distributing system has reached 723 Mrd. HUF
Since the number of villages no supplied with natural gas has been decreased – our company
has targeted the market of “big consumers” as well. The Hungarian Energy Board has
modified our license with her declaration No. 69/2001 and extended our servicing operation
on the field of so called “Civilian Industry Park”. This Industry Park is situated close to the
highway No. 3. One can count with settling there of major natural gas consumers. Our
company, by the DBGÁZ, constructed the gas-distributing pipeline of the mentioned
Industrial Park also
In year 2002 our company has financed from her own resources the gas servicing of regions of
Bajánsenye and Gyékényes – for satisfaction of the inhabitants of these regions. Part of the
constructed 272 Km long pipeline is medium pressed (4 bar) and another parts have highmedium
press (8 bar).The two projects (34 villages are included) were realized with financing
volume of 1 251 Mio HUF. In the same year we have built the gas servicing of Mátraszőlős –
as part of the investment package “Zagyva-cserhát. The participation of inhabitants in this
project was extremely high. At all sites up-to date consumer’s servicing desks were needed.

In year 2003 we have finalized a big project in 32 villages of region of Koppány-Valley
(County Somogy): 250 Km long pipelines of medium press (4 bar) and 68 Km long of steel
pipeline of high-medium press (25 bar). The 1 555 Mio HUF costs of the investment was
covered by DBGAZ.

We have participated successfully in realization of projects, where our task was to supply
former no supplied villages with natural gas via pipeline.
In our company we have introduced a quality insurance system for all areas of our activity –
with permanent checking. We are motivated to offer and maintain high-level service for our
consumers according to the actual law, norm and guidelines. This quality insurance system,
based on the norm ISO 9001 and controlled by the Hungarian Mining Authority will be
continuingly developed. We aspire to use – and to let use - modern constructing technologies.
We operate along our own quality limits and we demand the same from our subcontractors as
well.
