IP700 is an advanced, feature-rich set-top box designed specifically for IPTV operators. The
product is specific for high definition (HD) television and IPTV and is fitted with a High Definition
Multimedia Interface (HDMI) to ensure high quality transfer of sound and images to a HDTV.
IP700 is designed specifically for Telco Operators and opens
new opportunities for deploying new services, increase
revenue at decreasing costs of investments. Its secure
hardware platform allows the possibility to develop new and
complex services in the time.
IP700 device is able to satisfy connectivity and security
needs with low investment and operating costs.
IP700 is designed to be easy to configure and operate:
• SD and HD support in MPEG-2 and H.264 (MPEG-4)
• Designed to support a wide selection of video and audio
formats to ensure the High Quality
• Support of advanced video codecs (Mpeg4/H264)
provides operators to maximizing the efficient use of
network bandwidth.
• Comprehensive support software is based on open
standards such as Linux
• Software architecture based on standard interfaces and
protocols enable easy integration with various middleware
and security providers and it is supported by a
comprehensive system of middleware, browser and
security applications
• IP700 holds a complete software image in on-board flash
memory and is also designed to support secure bootstrap
from a multicast server. At any time, a deployed IP700
can be upgraded totally or partially, through secured
protocols, with a new software image via HTTP server or
multicast.
• HTML/Javascript or SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)
optionally to provides fast framework for building rich
user interfaces.

• Product Design: IP700 series case is performed by
Giugiaro Design, one the most icons in italian's style
• Support to PVR on external Hard Disk Drive (option).
• May be used as the home network centrepiece, playing
personal media files founded on the Home Network
(DLNA) or from USB external connected device and
showing picture slideshows on the TV set (Option).
