New <strong>Kontron</strong> CompactPCI ® single-board computer CP3003-V impresses with<br />
outstanding cost-effectiveness without compromising performance<br />
Nuremberg/Eching, Germany, November 27, 2012 – <strong>Kontron</strong> announced today the release of the<br />
<strong>Kontron</strong> CP3003-V, the latest extension to its popular CompactPCI ® Value Line Series. The PICMG ®<br />
2.0 compatible <strong>Kontron</strong> CP3003-V comes with the Intel ® Celeron ® processor 807UE. <strong>Kontron</strong>’s V<br />
(Value Line) boards offer customers a cost-optimized solution with a reasonable set of features and a<br />
less complex design. It delivers outstanding cost-effectiveness without compromising computing<br />
performance. This makes the <strong>Kontron</strong> CP3003-V an ideal fit for price-sensitive industrial applications,<br />
such as machine and factory control, visualization or inspection systems.<br />
The <strong>Kontron</strong> CP3003-V includes a 1.0 GHz Intel ® Celeron ® processor 807UE in combination with the<br />
Intel ® Platform Controller Hub QM77. A Smart Cache of 1 MB and up to 4 GB DDR3 SDRAM memory<br />
with up to 1333 MHz guarantee high data throughput. The new CompactPCI ® CPU board comes as a<br />
double slot version (8HP) that offers a comprehensive set of interfaces such as 1x VGA, 2x<br />
DisplayPort, 1x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, 3x Gigabit Ethernet ports and a Serial port on the front panel<br />
plus the option to hold a CFast module or up to 2x 2.5” HDD/SSD onboard.<br />

The <strong>Kontron</strong> CP3003-V also provides a PCI 32-bit, 33 MHz CompactPCI ® interface supporting the<br />
PCI passive mode feature. When installed in a system master slot, the CompactPCI ® interface is<br />
enabled, whereas the interface will be isolated when installed in a peripheral slot.<br />
The <strong>Kontron</strong> CP3003-V runs with Linux, Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows Embedded Standard 7.<br />
Highly integrated board support packages support all onboard hardware devices.<br />
