A makeover transformed both the Escort and<br />
Orion for 1991, giving the car more elbow room and<br />
improved comfort thanks to torsion bar rear<br />
suspension and enhanced equipment levels such<br />
as power steering, air-conditioning and ABS. Most<br />
importantly a new range of 16-valve Zetec petrol<br />
engines emerged to gradually supplement the<br />
