Confirmation Candidates 2009<br />
This week we were informed that Deacon<br />
John Auram will have to leave us next week.<br />
Due to changes of status he has to reapply<br />
for another visa. Fr Joachim our provincial is<br />
very keen that John returns and continues to<br />
work with us. There has been tears on all<br />
sides, but we wait now for John to return<br />
early next year and work with us as a newly<br />
ordained priest.<br />

Mass: One thing I believe we<br />
need to be aware of is that the children<br />
are celebrating their sacraments<br />
in church with the regular<br />
worshipping community. We are<br />
not attending the footy, or attending<br />
a party. This at times seems to<br />
me to be forgotten by all our paparazzi.<br />
Let’s have respect for those<br />
who have come to pray and remember<br />
that reverence in a sacred<br />
place is a tradition for us <strong>Catholic</strong>s.<br />

Baptisms are held on the 1st Sunday of the<br />
month. Preparation is on the 3rd Sunday of the<br />
month. Information from the <strong>Parish</strong> Centre.<br />
Marriages require 6 months notice to one of the<br />
priests, participation in a FOCCUS marriage<br />
preparation program, or a Centacare Course.<br />
Information Forms at the <strong>Parish</strong> Centre.<br />
Anointing of the Sick is held during Mass on the<br />
1st Friday of the Month at 9am. Before going to<br />
hospital for major surgery, why not ask one of the<br />
priests to pray with you and anoint you.<br />
Children’s Sacraments require full participation<br />
