Thanks to all of you who came out to Union Chapel Sunday evening<br />
to see our performance of Bright New Wings. We trust you were<br />
blessed and that the Lord spoke something very special to your<br />
hearts. We are thinking of performing an expanded version of the<br />
musical with a larger cast at the theatre sometime next year for<br />
those of you who missed out. It's a gem!! We'll let you know as<br />
soon as we finalize something.<br />
I am going to be giving you a number of different informational<br />
links in this email...so settle in with a good cup of coffee.<br />
A CAROLINA CHRISTMAS. . .<br />
There are a lot of wonderful things coming up this holiday season<br />
at the theatre and I wanted to direct your attention to several of<br />
them. Darryl Stallings and Richard Simmons (gospel pianist of the<br />
year nominee...not weight loss guru...) are teaming up with the<br />
<strong>Rocky</strong> <strong>Hock</strong> Singers for a fabulous <strong>Christmas</strong> concert that will be<br />
held at the <strong>Playhouse</strong> on December 3. We expect the concert to<br />
sell out so plan to purchase tickets early.<br />
Also, Darryl, Richard, and several past members of the incredible<br />
gospel group "Step of Faith" will be performing another <strong>Christmas</strong><br />
concert at the Swain Auditorium in Edenton on December 10.<br />

Many people have been asking us about overnight<br />
accommodations in Washington, additional theatres and<br />
attractions in the area, etc., so I wanted to draw your attention to<br />

is loaded with excellent ideas for those of you who want to plan an<br />
overnight trip to Washington. We suggest you take in the<br />
Estuarium (www.pamlico.com/nce), Darryl's <strong>Christmas</strong> concert,<br />
and A Night of Glory...all in one trip. I can't think of a better way to<br />
kick off your <strong>Christmas</strong> season than that!!! We have a number of<br />
fine motels and B&Bs all within a mile of the theatre.<br />
Washington is a beautiful, historic, friendly, and attractive<br />
town...truly the CROWN JEWEL of the Inner Banks of North<br />
<strong>Carolina</strong>. Be sure to contact the local Chamber of Commerce<br />

Don't miss our upcoming <strong>Christmas</strong> show. Thousands of patrons<br />
come to enjoy it each year. Gloria has written a wonderful show<br />
