Charlotte, NC–February 8, 2008 – Thermore ® , the thermal insulation experts since 1972, has
appointed Patrizio Siniscalchi to the position of Managing Director of Thermore ® Spa. The
announcement was made from the company’s main headquarters in Milan, Italy.
Patrizio Siniscalchi replaces his father, Lucio, who founded the company in 1972 and who
will now continue to support the company as a consultant.
Patrizio Siniscalchi’s main focus as Managing Director will be to continue Thermore ® ’s
the same time minimizing harm to the environment. That includes the development and
promotion of Thermore ® ’s newest innovation, Rinnova ® , made from 100% recycled
polyester.
“The consumer’s choice will have an impact on the environment and I think it’s important
to make our extremely high standard of research and development even better known
internationally to position Thermore ® as the worldwide leading supplier of high-quality
thermal insulation,” Patrizio Siniscalchi said. “I believe that in particular thermo-regulating
With more than 200 articles, the specialist is fulfilling all needs of their customers in regards
of functional thermo-regulating padding. The ability of understanding the customers in
“My father always told me ‘You have to give the customers what they need,’” Patrizio
Siniscalchi said. “We have to be very close to our customers – as if they were our
neighbours. But on the other side, we offer the know-how that only a multi-national
company like us can have.”
Patrizio Siniscalchi now heads a company that manufactures, not only Rinnova ® , but a
variety of thermal insulations including:
• T98 ® Dynamic: the “smart” insulation where thermal resistance actually changes
according to weather conditions—thus making it the perfect outerwear insulation
during this time of global climate change.
• TMK: made of 100% polyester and can be found in a variety of apparel because of its
four thickness options per weight—High Loft, Compact, Super Compact or Ultra
Compact—making it the most universal of all Thermore ® insulations.
• Ecodown ® : luxury and performance meet in Thermore ® ’s synthetic alternative to
down that offers superior warmth and an extra soft hand.
• Opera ® : a soft, flexible insulation with an ultra-light membrane for wind and water
protection.
• Stretch: offers excellent stretch capability and completely recovers to its original
shape time after time.
and provides long-term odor control and freshness.
business, he worked in all departments and positions in order to know and learn the
company in every detail, including working in the warehouse and production. Patrizio
Siniscalchi, 36, is married and has two children.
