OF THE20 THCENTURY<br />
During the last years of the 19th and into the 20th<br />
Century, theatrical newsreels brought the world to<br />
the American public. Over 360 classic, archival clips<br />
capture events spanning significant moments from<br />
1897 to 1969, when television took over and<br />
delivered world news directly into our homes.<br />
Students will enjoy short 2-3 minute clips on<br />
pivotal world and national events, personalities,<br />
disasters, and athletic feats that shaped the<br />
20th Century.<br />
The Toy Castle, a critically acclaimed series<br />
performed by members of the Royal Winnipeg<br />
Ballet, opens the world of classical arts to young<br />
students. Dance, music and mime combine to<br />
create a fantasy world that will unlock the<br />
imagination and foster an appreciation for the arts.<br />
Each of the 12 stories are set in a magical castle<br />
where the toys come to life and offers children the<br />
