Sarasota Sharp Shooters (Membership OPEN) - Focus is firearm safety, shooting
sports, (rifle, shotgun, muzzleloader archers) outdoor adventure, (hunting, fishing,
nature identification). Participate in community service. Club meets the 4 th Monday of

Shark Bait (Membership CLOSED) - The focus is environmental science and serves
the students of Woodland Middle School in North Port. They meet on the 2 nd Tuesday of
each month from 4:15-5:30 p.m. at the school. Club leaders: Karen and Beverly.
South County Ag (Membership OPEN) – Cloverbuds accepted. Location – Stout St
Englewood. Focus is care and handling of small and large animals and participation in

Southern Pride: (Membership OPEN) – Cloverbuds accepted. Location – Palmer Blvd.

Southern Spurs (Membership OPEN) – Focus is on the care and handling of horses,
community service, animal education, personal growth and future goals. Club meets on

The Green In Me (Membership CLOSED) – Focus is marine biology, environment and
community service. Club meets 1st and 3rd Monday’s of each month from 3:30 p.m.

The Wavemakers (Membership CLOSED) – The focus of this club is Marine Science.
This is a high school group that meets every Thursday morning 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
