Automatic return of the carriage to the<br />
previous loading zone or to any point on the<br />
skyline over a preselected distance<br />
from the landing.<br />

running over intermediate supports.<br />

The working principle of the winch unit is based on<br />
2 big drums with the two working cables mounted<br />
on a single shaft.<br />
These two cables are reeled up in counterwise rotation<br />
sense.The main hydraulic motor drive both drums,<br />
the speed of the working cables is highly syncronised.<br />
Minor differences caused by the number of cable layers<br />
are compensated automatically by an additional<br />
hydraulic motor.<br />
The 2 operation speeds enable powerful load pulling and<br />
quick manipulation of the unloaded carriage in<br />
a unique combination.<br />
The skyline cable is protected against overload by an<br />
hydraulic actuated disc brake.
