Medicine & Rehabilitation, or Neuro-<br />

Surgery. Traction treatment is limited<br />

<strong>to</strong> the number of traction tables<br />

available at each clinic. Traction is the<br />

therapeutic use of manual or<br />

mechanical tension created by a<br />

pulling force <strong>to</strong> produce a combination<br />

of distraction and gliding <strong>to</strong> relieve<br />

pain and <strong>to</strong> increase tissue flexibility.<br />
