HERE’S HOW IT WORKS<br />
Instead of idling, the Hybrid Power System provides stable power to<br />
the truck, allowing the owner to effi ciently run the HVAC system. When<br />
the battery power levels decrease to low voltage levels, the low-battery<br />
indicator is triggered and the KOHLER® DC power unit begins to recharge<br />
the batteries while keeping the Bergstrom NITE® Plus System operating<br />
uninterrupted. Should the truck’s battery also be depleted, the KOHLER<br />
DC power unit is able to recharge it. Because fuel is used only when the<br />
DC unit is recharging the batteries, very little is consumed. And when the<br />
Bergstrom NITE Plus System is running completely from battery power, it<br />
uses no fuel whatsoever and is 100% CARB compliant.<br />

DIESEL GENERATORS<br />
Keeping size, noise, weight and emissions to a minimum, Kohler offers<br />
a solid line of diesel generators from 10 to 40 kW at 60 Hz and 9 to<br />
33 kW at 50 Hz. Optional sound attentuated enclosures are available.<br />
GAS GENERATORS<br />
Available in 10-15 kW at 60 Hz, KOHLER gasoline generators offer<br />
heavy-duty power in a lightweight package. These little powerhouses<br />
are built to be quiet and compact, with minimal vibration.<br />

CARB and EPA requirements and feature reduced engine<br />
noise emissions due to innovative designs in the engine<br />
block, crankcase and fuel injection pump.<br />

The exclusive KOHLER Advanced Digital Control system<br />
ensures that the generator starts up smoothly and protects<br />
sensitive electronic equipment from voltage fluctuations.<br />
The ADC also provides remote monitoring of up to 13 fault<br />
conditions through the SAE J-1939 CAN Bus output.
