CONTINENTAL
Classe A3 Plus Continental is the essential dental unit for today’s
modern surgeon thanks to compact design, performance and prime
practicality. The dental team will be totally at ease with a treatment centre
that offers outstanding reliability and operative simplicity in every context.
The Short Arm version is an ideal option for small surgery environments
where every inch of space counts. The shorter fixed arm (just 50 cm)
reduces the overall dimensions and enables the surgeon to work
comfortably in all positions.

INTERNATIONAL
Classe A3 Plus International is designed for dentists who work in indirect
vision mode. The newly designed dentist’s module derives from a close
analysis of the customary operative style of those dentists that work
with instruments on hanging tubes. Design blends with ergonomics to
give rise to a functional and reliable unit.

Simple patient chair/handpiece controls are essential in
maximising the day-to-day performance of both dentist and
assistant. With its clear, user-friendly controls, the Anthos
Classe A3 Plus lets the dentist set and control hygiene systems,
instrument programs and patient chair movement
with ease.
Perfectly balanced arms with extensive movement provide
maximum practicality whatever the working position.
The assistant is provided with easier access to the operating
area thanks to the cuspidor bowl which rotates 160°.
Whatever your operating position, with the Continental or
International system, the new Classe A3 Plus unit ensures
ergonomic, practical performance.
Multi-function foot control
The new Anthos foot control unit has been designed and
developed to maximise ergonomics and provide multiple
functions. By transferring several commands to a logical,
user-friendly foot control the dentist obtains a tool that
offers the very highest level of practicality.

THINNER, SPECIALLY SHAPED CHAIR
Unobstructed approach to operating zone
In addition to supplying comfortable anatomical support for
the patient, the patient chair must ensure unobstructed
approach to the operating zone by the medical personnel.
The new chair, thinner than the previous version, has a
tapered section between the seat and lumbar support, to
facilitate approach and help freedom of movement for both
the dentist and the assistant. The chair movement (from
90° to Trendelenburg position) is smooth and regular.
To ensure effective working ergonomics and the proper
comfort of shorter patients or children, a supplementary
cushion is available on request.
Special visco-elastic upholstery
Surgical visco-elastic padding for total patient comfort.
The characteristics of the materials used provide perfect
patient support at all times. By adapting to their individual
shape and increasing contact surface area, the pressure
exerted on the patient’s body is reduced. Visco-elastic
padding provides an active, calibrated response that gives
maximum patient comfort in all working positions, especially
during prolonged operations.
Made-to-last machines
An appropriate choice of materials means hardwearing
quality and optimum functionality.
Cast aluminium, ceramics and polyurethane are used to
increase structural strength and ensure long-term durability.
Special plastic materials such as ABS and ASA provide
resistance to chemical aggression and make surfaces easy
to clean and do not attract dust.

ACTIVE HYGIENE SYSTEM
A modern system that complies
with European standards
Hygiene means safety - safety inside and outside the dental
unit, for the dentist, the assistant and the patient. It also
means ensuring perfect hygiene in the building mains
water system by preventing backflow contamination.
Classe A units feature optional integrated disinfection systems
characterised by maximum efficiency, practicality and ease
of use.
WHE (Water Hygienisation Equipment)
An automatic system that ensures permanent disinfection
of spray and water-to-cup circuits via the addition of H 2O 2
to inhibit the formation of biofilm.
The system also features a Type A air gap separation from
mains water as per EN 1717 (DVGW certified).
Distilled water tank
This system ensures quality and conformity with water
supply hygiene requirements independent of drinking
water quality. The 2-litre bottle incorporated in the unit
body can be removed for easy filling and sanitisation.
O.D.R. spray anti-retraction system
Device fitted on all dynamic instruments: blocks droplet
retraction completely and prevents backflow contamination
of spray circuits.

Enhanced diagnostic capacity
To complete your treatment centre, Anthos offers you its
ZEN-X sensor and high-frequency X-ray system RXDC
HyperSphere, whose diagnostic potential complements
the multimedia system for direct communication. Thanks
to the intraoral sensor, it is now possible to immediately
view an X-ray image on the LCD unit. Screen integration
and the immediate availability of diagnostic data enhance
the medical team efficiency, preventing down time and
interruptions in the workflow.
ZEN-X
The new smoothed, rounded edge ZEN-X X-ray sensor is
conveniently located on the dentist’s module. Readily available
precision diagnostics and above all, extra comfort
thanks to the sensor’s rounded shape that perfectly adapts
to the patient’s oral cavity.
The sensor, available in two sizes, has a compact, sturdy
design thanks to rear lead mounting and lining seal. The
sensor, whose overall size has been reduced to facilitate
positioning in the mouth, enables to quickly obtain highly
accurate clinical images.
RXDC HyperSphere
HyperSphere technology makes RXDC different from all
other commercially available X-ray systems. The RXDC X-ray
tube head can be manoeuvred comfortably with just one
hand. The tube head lock-on/lock-off device swivelling on
the steel sphere enables effortless and highly accurate
repositioning of the tube head. Once the desired exposure
position has been reached it remains perfectly stable.
Wireless control
RXDC is supplied with a portable wireless digital control
device that can be installed anywhere in the dental studio.
The control device offers a full range of intuitive exposure
programs and four buttons designed to make correct X-ray
image acquisition a straightforward process. The RXDC X-ray
system defines automatically the correct exposure by
selecting the anatomic district of interest.

Anthos offers the modern dentist an efficient communications
system: incorporated in the dental unit, it is designed
to get his patients involved, keep them informed, reassure
and motivate them. It allows the dentist to highlight the
work that needs doing, illustrate the results and document
his work stage by stage by creating comprehensive patient
records complete with images and data that can be called
up at any time.
C-U2
Digital intraoral camera. Thanks to the highest brightness
rating in its category, which ensures optimal lighting of the
oral cavity during video imaging, C-U2 provides supersharp
images and promotes truly effective dentist-patient
communication. Extremely lightweight and ergonomic, the
watertight handpiece also ensures maintenance of excellent
hygiene standards.
Thanks to the touch-sensitive control, freeze-frame images
without vibration-induced blur can easily be obtained. The
freeze-frame function can also be used via the foot control.
Digital Progressive Scan technology gives sharp freezeframe
images without analogical conversion of the video
signal. The wide-angle view is partially retroflexed for easy
access to distal and posterior tooth areas where a standard
90° view would be penalised.
C-U2 PRO
PRO optics provides images via three different focal adjustments.
Macro Close-Up enhances the perception of the tiniest
details.
Intra-oral Depth of Focus allows for complete inspection of

Venus
Versatile and practical, the Venus operating light offers a
perfectly illuminated working environment. The quality of
the light emitted ensures correct colour readings. Two
intensity settings are possible: 8,000 Lux to avoid inducing
composite filling polymerisation and 22,500 Lux as normal
operating intensity.
Moreover, Venus incorporates a cooling system to maintain
correct temperature levels.
