He is a pivotal fi gure in the politics of postwar Germany. Dietmar Huber has been a close confi dant and advisor for Joschka Fischer throughout this period. He was responsible for communicating the political agenda of the Green Party both in government and as opposition party and was chief strategist for Joschka Fischer through three parliamentary election campaigns. Their understanding of politics goes well beyond theory, and is rooted instead in practical action.
