Executive Director
CREW Atlanta is pleased to welcome
Karrie Westphal as our
new Executive Director; the culmination
of an extensive search
to replace long-time Executive
Director Erika Huddleston. The

made to our
CREW membership
at the
December luncheon.
Westphal will
provide associationmanagementservices
including
operational
support of the
organization’s
leadership and
committees as
well as financial and operational
recordkeeping.
“Karrie is known as one of
CREW-Atlanta’s most composed
and focused leaders,” explains
Tonya Creekmore, president,
CREW-Atlanta, and vice president
of leasing, North American
Properties. “Her confident leadership
skills and her sincere passion
for CREW, coupled with her
18-year career in the real estate
industry, are the ideal ingredients
for a recipe of success as our
next executive director.”
Karrie has been an active member
of CREW-Atlanta since 1993.
She served as president of the
organization in 2004 and currently
serves on the Past Presidents’
Council. In addition to
her presidential experience,
Karrie also served on the board
as vice president of community
affairs in 2000 and 2002 as well
as on several committees, including
local and national grantmaking
committees and the
national awards program. She
is a graduating member of the
2004 Leadership CREW program
and was recently honored with
the 2006 Distinguished Achievement
Award. The award recognizes
members who demonstrate
strong leadership qualities and
credibility among industry peers
while consistently contributing
new ideas and strategies to
promote and support CREW-
Atlanta’s mission.
Karrie will continue to oversee
the management of Resurgens
Plaza.

Farewell, Friends
A Message from Erika Huddleston
Dear Friends,
It is so hard to say goodbye, so let’s just say this is more of a ‘until we
meet again,’…. It has been my honor and privilege to serve all of you as
CREW’s Executive Director. I want to thank
all of you who have said a kind word in the
past few months, or shared a special memory,
or the honor of your time as a parting gift to
me. I apologize for not thanking each of you
individually – but you all know who you are! I
especially want to acknowledge the Member
Services committee, the Past Presidents, and
event sponsors: DeKalb Office Environments,
North American Properties, Resurgens Plaza,
Specialized Title Services, and Womble, Carlyle,
Sandridge and Rice PLLC, for making the “Night
of Appreciation” possible.
My ‘CREW Experience’ has taught me so much: we can all learn from each
other, we can all support one another, and we can all do business together.
I hope that sums up your CREW Experience too. Farewell for now, but I know
our paths will cross again.
