Building Disposal<br />
• Division of Waste Management allows for<br />
ON-SITE ON SITE BURIAL of buildings.<br />
• Depth to cover - minimum 2 feet of clean soil<br />
• At least 4 feet above ground water table<br />
• Before burial, hazardous materials must be<br />
removed, including:<br />
– Asbestos, fluorescent bulbs, mercury switches,<br />
anything that could be considered toxic or<br />
hazardous material.<br />
– Any furnishings, carpets, etc. must be removed.<br />
