Founded in 1933 by the Benedictine Community of St.<br />
Meinrad Abbey, Indiana - <strong>Marmion</strong> <strong>Academy</strong> has experienced<br />
a long, rich history among private college preparatory<br />
schools. As the only Catholic boys high school in the<br />
Midwest offering a JROTC program and LEAD program,<br />
the <strong>Academy</strong> provides its students with unparalleled<br />
opportunities for intellectual accomplishment, spiritual<br />
growth and leadership development.<br />
The 325 acre campus includes attractive, modern facilities<br />
for its student body of over 510 young men. Recognized<br />

SPORTSMANSHIP STATEMENT<br />
Our conference is composed of catholic and christian schools that publicly profess christian values.<br />
It is imperative that our behavior at activities be consistent with the missions and philosophies of<br />
our respective schools. In addition to the excellence we exhibit in athletic competition, we want the<br />
suburban christian conference to exhibit leadership in displaying good sportsmanship. We expect<br />
everyone to show respect for coaches, offi cials, players and fans whenever attending an activity. In<br />
order to promote good sportsmanship, the school supervisors of the suburban christian conference<br />
events have the authority to ask any fans who are disruptive at a contest to alter their behavior or to<br />
leave. Names of individuals will be taken and the administration of the appropriate school will be<br />
notifi ed.<br />
The Suburban Christian Conference is rich in tradition and proud of everyone involved in conference<br />
activities. We want to strenghthen that tradition and demonstrate support for those values that are at<br />
the heart of a christian education.<br />
