This weekend the First Regiment
conducted its first fullfledged
Saturday room inspection.
Cadets of every class
worked through the night to
prepare their rooms for the
vigorous inspection, to be
quickly followed by a football
parade. Music and conversation
continued into the late
hours while cadets moved furniture,
cleaned, mopped, and
dusted their rooms. The late
night was followed by an early
morning wake-up at 0500. The

State this past weekend was a
close grappling match, and
during the 2nd and 3rd quarters
the game was undeniably
close. The Cardinals scored
two unanswered touchdowns
in the first quarter, and the
game looked like a runaway
victory for Ball State. However

MIAD selections, impressive
SAMI, disciplined review, and
motivating enthusiasm at the

their company areas to continue
last-minute preparations
