Q1 What is Poslaju Prepaid Envelope/ Box<br />

PosLaju Prepaid Box (Kotak Prabayar) or Prepaid Envelope (Sampul Prabayar) PosLaju is a new<br />

product introduced by PosLaju for convenient and cost-saving shipping solutions for sending<br />

document or merchandise with weight range between 500g up to 10kg within Peninsular Malaysia<br />

only.<br />

Q2 What are the advantages of using of this Prepaid Envelope/ Box offered by Poslaju?<br />

Poslaju Prepaid Envelope/ Box offers a cost saving and convenient way for customer to courier<br />

their shipment<br />

Q3 What are the sizes of Prepaid Envelope/ Box available?<br />

Prepaid Box - S : 80mm x 250mm x 340mm<br />

Prepaid Box - M : 150mm x 250mm x 340mm<br />

Q4 How do I pay for it and how much?<br />

Customer can pay by cash when purchase the box over the counter. The prices are as below:<br />

Prepaid Box S : RM 13<br />

Prepaid Box M : RM20<br />

Prepaid Box L : RM30<br />

Prepaid Envelope* L : RM9<br />

Prepaid Envelope* S : RM6<br />

*came with plastic bubble padding<br />

Q5 Is there any maximum weight limit for each size?<br />

The suggested weight limit are as follows,<br />

Prepaid Box S : 2kg<br />

Prepaid Box M : 5kg<br />

Prepaid Box L : 10kg<br />

Prepaid Envelope L : 1kg<br />

Prepaid Envelope S: 500gm<br />

Q6 Where can customer purchase this Prepaid Envelope/ Box?<br />

PosLaju Prepaid Envelope/ Box are available at more than 300 retail outlets in Peninsular including<br />

PosLaju Centres, Post Offices, sales agents (MBE and Ikobana).<br />

Q7 How do I use the Prepaid Envelope/ Box?<br />

1. Purchase the Prepaid Envelope/ Box at any of the selected sales outlets.<br />

2. Fill up the shipment slip (PL1A Form) which attached with the Prepaid Envelope/ Box<br />

3. Insert the shipment slip (PL1A Form) into the plastic pocket on the Prepaid Envelope/ Box, but<br />

DO NOT seal it.<br />

4. Pass the box at the nearest PosLaju and Post Offices outlets or call Pickup Hotline at 1 300 22<br />

5258 (LAJU) for pickup request.<br />

Q8 Where does customer send the box after purchase?<br />

Customer need to pass the sealed box to the nearest PosLaju, Post Offices or Sales agents outlets.<br />

Q9 Is there any pick up service for Prepaid Envelope/ Box?<br />

Yes<br />

Q10 How do I request for a pick up for my Prepaid Envelope/ Box?<br />

Customer may call Pick Up Hotline 1 300 22 5258 (LAJU) to request for Prepaid Envelope/Box pick<br />

up.<br />

Q11 Is there any charge for Prepaid Envelope/Box Pick Up Service?<br />

Yes. RM5.00 will be charged for each pick up, regardless of the quantity of the Prepaid<br />

Envelope/Box.<br />

Q12 Can I call Pick Up Hotline 1 300 22 5258 (LAJU) to buy Prepaid Envelope/Box?<br />

No. Prepaid Envelope/ Box are only available at the selected Post Office/ PosLaju centres.<br />

Q13 Is there any volumetric calculation imposed on the boxes?<br />

No<br />

Q14 Will Poslaju accept Prepaid Envelope/ Box if it’s exceeding the suggested weight limit?<br />

Yes, the posting is acceptable provided the shape of the Prepaid Envelope/ Box is unchanged.<br />

However Poslaju will not be responsible for any refund, lost or damage occurred due to exceeding<br />

the suggested weight limit.<br />

Q15 Can I buy the insurance offers by Poslaju as an additional coverage for my Prepaid Envelope/ Box?<br />

We are sorry, PosLaju did not offer insurance for Prepaid Envelope/ Box<br />

Are there any restrictions on the items/contents that I can’t send using Prepaid Envelope/ Box<br />

service?<br />

The sender is fully responsible for the content posted but must ensure it is not an illegal and<br />

prohibited item. Poslaju will not be responsible for any refund, lost or damage occurred due to<br />

content containing an illegal and prohibited item.<br />

Q17 Can I use the Prepaid Envelope/ Box for sending items to Sabah & Sarawak or International?<br />

PosLaju Prepaid Envelope/ Box are for delivery within Peninsular Malaysia only.<br />

Q18 Can I use the Prepaid Envelope/ Box for Time Certain Service (TCS)?<br />

Prepaid Box and Prepaid Envelope is only for Next Day Delivery. It cannot be used for other<br />

premium service offered by PosLaju i.e. Same Day Delivery, Time Certain Service or Putrajaya<br />

Ekspres.<br />

Q19 Is the Prepaid Envelope/ Box delivery within next day delivery coverage?<br />

Yes. Prepaid Envelope/ Box still under Poslaju Next Day delivery coverage and it was posted before<br />

the cut off time (refer local Post Office for exact cut off time).<br />

Q20 Is there any tracking number issued for Prepaid Envelope/ Box?<br />

Yes, you can track your shipment using the tracking number printed on the shipment slip (PL1A<br />

Form).<br />

Q21 How do I track my shipment?<br />

You can track your shipment online at www.poslaju.com.my and www.pos.com.my ; or call our call<br />

centre at 1-300-300-300<br />

Q22 Did Prepaid Envelope/ Box provide proof of delivery?<br />

Yes, we provide proof of delivery for Prepaid Envelope/ Box and it can be retrieved via<br />

www.poslaju.com.my and www.pos.com.my. Besides that, for we also offer services such as second<br />

delivery and redirection to the new address (within the same area only).<br />

Q23 What happens if the Prepaid Envelope/ Box failed to be delivered the next day after posting? Will<br />

I be able to get the refund for the prepaid charge?<br />

Poslaju will do the delivery according to the standard as promised. However, there will be no refund<br />

for Prepaid Envelope/ Box charges should there be any delay in delivery.<br />

Q24 Will PosLaju compensate me if my Prepaid Envelope/ Box got damaged or lost?<br />

Poslaju will compensate for damage or lost as accordance to Terms & Conditions stated on the<br />

shipment slip (PL1A Form).<br />

Despite the above, there is no compensation if the damage or lost of the content is due to<br />

exceeding the suggested weight limit<br />

Q25 I lost the shipment slip (PL1A Form), where can I get a new form?<br />

The shipment slip (PL1A Form) are available at any PosLaju or Post office outlets.<br />

I bought the Prepaid Envelope at a convenience store/ Post Office, but when I reached home I<br />

found it is torn. Can I get a replacement for the torn Prepaid Envelope?<br />

All Prepaid Boxes and Prepaid Envelopes sold are deemed to be in good condition. As such,<br />

customers are advice to inspect the Prepaid Envelope/ Box purchased at the point of purchase,<br />

before leaving the counter.<br />

Q23 I received the Prepaid Box from my friend, can I re-used the box for my next posting?<br />

No, each Prepaid Box will be stamped upon posting as a proof of posting acceptance. Thus, Prepaid<br />

Box with posting stamp or torn/reattach marks will be declined for new posting.<br />

What are the advantages of Prepaid Envelope/ Box compared to Pos Ekspres?<br />

Prepaid Envelope/ Box have POD while Pos Ekspres delivered via mail drop. Besides that, Prepaid<br />

Envelope/ Box also provide value added service where customer may request for second delivery or<br />

redirection to a new address in the same area of delivery. In addition, in any event of loss or<br />

damage of Prepaid Envelope/ Box, customer may claim for higher value of compensation (subject to<br />

loss or damage which is not caused by excessive weight or posting of prohibited goods).<br />
