ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
The Workshop Proceedings held in Gaborone 6 th June 2003 is an Addendum to publications with reference to Guideline no 7 Technical
Auditing of Road Projects and Guideline no 8 The use of Silcrete and other Marginal Materials for Road Surfacing.
The production of these Guidelines is one is of a series that is being published under the Institutional Co-operation Agreement
that exists between the Roads Department and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA). This agreement falls under a
NORAD Technical Assistance Programme to Roads Department which is co-funded by the Kingdom of Norway and the Government
of the Republic of Botswana.
The various opinions and refl ections given in the Workshop by the participating delegates are highly appreciated and is presented
in the workshop proceedings. The Workshop reporter was Mr. Michael I. Pinard, Infra Africa Consultants.
The production of the Addendum has been a joint effort between the Roads Department and NPRA; its preparation was co-ordinated
by Mr. Charles Overby of the NPRA.
