Into the oPen. Utopia and Freedom in Music.
enrique Sánchez Lansch
S ince 2006, the Beethovenfest
Bonn has organized the short-film
competition »Look at Beethoven«.
This year too, the Beethovenfest
is calling on film-makers, film
students and artists to create
shorts relating to classical music.
This year’s »utopia« theme
may serve as an inspiration, not
least against the background that
film too creates an alternative
reality from the free composition
of elements of existing reality.
A jury will decide which films will
be selected for awarding and
showing at the festival, including
at the opening of »Look at Beethoven«
on 9 september in the
auditorium of the Kunstmuseum
Bonn.
