The secretary keeps a list of the names and addresses of the class<br />

THE CORNELLIAN COUNCIL<br />

The <strong>Cornell</strong>ian Council was organized in 1908 to enlist the general<br />

body of alumni in the financial support of the <strong>University</strong>. Its active<br />

members are persons representing all the classes graduated from the<br />

<strong>University</strong> and forty alumni elected by the Council itself as members<br />

at large. The Council maintains a paid executive staff and conducts<br />

a continuous campaign for subscriptions. Its collections, constituting<br />

the Alumni Fund, are paid directly into the treasury of the Univer<br />

sity. From this fund the Board of Trustees of the <strong>University</strong> an<br />

nually makes an appropriation for such purposes as it may choose.<br />

The officers of the Council for 1925-26 are: President, Harrison D.<br />

McFaddin '94; Vice-President, Maxwell M. Upson '99; Executive<br />

Committee, the officers above named and J. DuPratt White '90,<br />

Jervis Langdon '97, Frank E. Gannett '98, R. Verne Mitchell '07,<br />

Walter L. Todd '09, Creed W. Fulton '09, and Edward G. MacArthur<br />

'11. The Executive Secretary of the Council is Harold Flack '12,<br />

Room 32, Morrill Hall, Ithaca.<br />

FEDERATION OF CORNELL WOMEN'S CLUBS<br />

The Federation of <strong>Cornell</strong> Women's Clubs was organized in 19 14<br />

for the purpose of furthering the interests of <strong>Cornell</strong> <strong>University</strong> and<br />

in particular the interests of <strong>Cornell</strong> women. Its members are the<br />

individual members of alumnae clubs and such other <strong>Cornell</strong> women,<br />

not affiliated with any club, as may wish to pay the annual dues of<br />

fifty cents. The officers of the Federation for 1924-25 are : President,<br />

Margaret L. Stecker '06; Vice-Presidents, Mrs. Finis E. Yoakum<br />

'11, Mrs. Thomas Turnbull, III '14, and Mrs. R. Warren Sailor '09;<br />

Secretary-Treasurer, Miss Dorothy Winner '16.<br />

(The memorial gifts of classes graduating in late years have been sums of<br />

money or pledges of money for the general support of the <strong>University</strong>.)<br />
