2009 a site visit to the construction areas of
KL-Kuala Selangor Expressway was
organised. The group comprised of the
contractor, Mudajaya Corporation, the
consultants, HSSI and Endeover, the subcontractors.
Progress and details of
contruction activities was briefed by En
Amran Amir, CEO of KLSEB and Mr Yong
Yee Coi, Director of Mudajaya. Other
personnels during the visit included En
Mohamed Raffe Chekku, Mr Tan Kwe Hee,
Mr David Lee, Mr Lee Seng Fong, Mr Ooi Tat
Lean and others.
The 1st stop was the Templer Park
Interchange at CH300000 followed by Kg
Sungai Samak at CH 29000. Later the group
proceeded to the 3rd stop at the Kuang
System Interchange (CH21000) and Ijok
Interchange (CH12000). They were also
briefed on location of the permanent
operation office and staff quaters which will
be located at CH12000. The next stop was
the Assam Jawa Interchange (ending of the
expressway) at CH 3000. Finally the group
visited the contactors's workshop at CH
17200 (Kuang) and their site office building,

2 nd Central Lecture Hall & Post Graduates Center for UMS, Kota Kinabalu
Bina Puri Construction Sdn Bhd secured the subcontract work from Variasi Baru Sdn Bhd for the
construction and completion of the 2nd Central Lecture Hall & Post Graduates Center on Design
& Build Concept for Universiti Malaysian Sabah, Kota Kinabalu. The contract sum is RM 161.6 mil
and work commenced in November 2008 with 30 months contract period.
8-Storey Medium Cost Apartments, Menggatal, Kota Kinabalu
Bina Puri Construction Sdn Bhd in Joint venture with Kinsanuri Sdn Bhd secured the Proposed
1,664 units 8-Storey Medium Cost Apartments in Kg. Darau, Menggatal, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
from the Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad with contract sum of RM 224.1 mil. The work
commenced in February 2009 with 40 months contract period.
Infrastructure Works for Pre-Clinical Building, UKM, Cheras
Bina Puri Construction Sdn Bhd secured the subcontract work from Tim Sekata Sdn Bhd for the
Site Clearance, Earthworks and Piling Works for the construction of Pre-Clinical Building
comprising 1 Block of 22-storey Building for Medical Faculty, I Block Auditorium and 1 Block 8-
Storey Car Park for Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. The contract sum is
RM 19.5 mil to be completed in September 2009.
Bangunan Markas 92 Angkatan Tentera Cawangan Khas, K. Lumpur
Bina Puri Construction Sdn Bhd secured the subcontract work from Pembinaan HRS Sdn Bhd for
the construction of Bangunan Markas 92 Angkatan Tentera Cawangan Khas (ATCK), Genting
Klang, K. Lumpur. The contract sum is RM 43 mil with construction period of 24 months.
Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Bachok, Package 2 – Building Works
Konsortium Syarikat Bina Puri – TA3 JV Sdn Bhd secured Package 2 : Building Works for the
Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, Kampus Bachok with contract value of RM60 mil and 15 months
construction period commencing March 2009. This is continuing from Package 1 : Infrastructure
Works secured earlier, and which is now nearing completion.
Pusat Latihan Polis (Pulapol), K. Lumpur
Bina Puri Construction Sdn Bhd secured the subcontract work from Pembinaan Tajri Sdn Bhd for
the Development at Pusat Latihan Polis Kuala Lumpur comprising 1 Block of 6-Storey for Training
Academy Complex; 1 Block of 3-Storey for Tactical Training Building and 1 Block of 14-Storey
Class F Staff Quarters (100 units). The contract sum is RM 147 mil with construction period of 30
months
