sensors; Innovatum purchased SubSurface Instruments from the original owners in July 2001, and
moved the company and some of the people to better facilities in Houston in July 2005. On Oct. 20,
2006 we were presented with the opportunity to buy the Innovatum US stock and our company back.

skeletons, bodies, graves, old foundations, artifacts… artifacts think about it, the possibilities
are nearly endless.

“Innspector Innspector 07” 07 –The The ultimate, do it all locator?
In a word… word NO, perhaps not: (However, many types of targets may not be locatable with ANY other other
locator.)
It’s It s really the tool to use when you feel sure what you are looking for is over here, or down there
somewhere… somewhere or runs cross through here or there. It is designed for those things that you just can’t can t find
with traditional locators. It does find those targets as well, but this unit must be used slowly and with
good sense.
If one’s one s idea of locating, locating,
or one’s one s particular locating methods, “demand demand or require” require walking and locating in a
rush or big hurry… hurry don’t don t even bother. You & the locator will be confused & frustrated.
Perhaps, a metallic line turns into (is connected to) a non-metallic non metallic line… line and there was no tracer wire installed
from that point on, or it was not installed properly or has corroded corroded
over time… time now you have a solution.
The Innspector will detect the line before & after it turns from metallic to non-metallic, non metallic, so you can
continue to mark the line.
Why go slow & think? In most cases, that isn’t isn t a bad idea no matter what kind of locator one is using.
However, this new locator operates differently than “RF RF” type locators, and it finds practically
“everything
everything”. . The great news is “it it finds everything”…

so one
must go slow, think, and use a “crossing/slicing
crossing/slicing” technique instead of tracing “down down” a line.
Crossing & Slicing Technique: This technique works best when one imagines they are “slicing slicing” or “cutting cutting
through” through the intended target… target attempting to cut it in two (perhaps drawing an imaginary line on the
ground, if you will). Walk up close to the area where the target target
is, or runs through. Turn on, and point
the locator to the other side, and pretend you are “slicing slicing” through it as you bring the locator in a path
down towards your feet. The locator will indicate a “hit hit”, , as it is brought through the target. If the pipe
is fairly large and shallow, three “hits hits” may occur, one on the first edge, one in the middle of the pipe, pipe,
and another on the last edge as you draw the imaginary line through through
the target. (If there is a tracer wire
in the trench with a plastic pipe, it will “hit hit” on that wire also.) Remember the location of, or mark, the
“hit(s hit(s)”, , and step to the left or right two or three paces, and repeat. Line up the hits to mark position.
Sort of a “connect connect the dots” dots routine. (Remember, in this exercise you are pointing the unit at an angle… angle
to pinpoint… pinpoint go to the “hit hit”, , allow for the angle, and locate the target vertically. Don’t Don t forget to keep
your feet out of the way.) Continue to move along the target repeating repeating
the operation and mark the
target with flags, paint or other method.
Triangulation Method: May be used to find the depth. Locate the target holding the Innspector at 45 degrees
and mark the laser spot on the ground. Locate the target vertically vertically
to pinpoint directly over it, mark the
spot on the ground & the distance between the two spots will be the estimated depth. But due to the
depth & distance, this may not be possible.
