The circularly polarized Russian coverage antenna has a single surface shaped reflector, a single feed and polarizer. The linearly polarized African coverage antenna uses a dual gridded, shaped reflector with a dual feed. The steerable antenna is of a Gregorian design with shaped main reflector and sub-reflector.
