PROFUSELY NOTATED by Damien Hirst, describing the freeze show. This show has a special significance for Hirst as it was his curatorial debut. This show was such a success that it marked the beginning of the “Young British Artists” generation. Group show curated By Damien Hirst and held in London Docklands, ‘Freeze’ (1988) was the first major exhibition of works by a group of artists from Goldsmiths College, London.
