welcome to
barista magazine
from our beginnings at Barista Magazine
in 2oo4, we wanted to push past the
conventional trade magazine model: in
order to be invaluable in the world of
specialty coffee, we needed to step up
and stand out.
We knew that the trendsetting,
contemporary and quality-driven
audience we serve would not only
appreciate, but covet, a physical coffee
magazine that was as stylish and sophisticated as it was educational
and valuable. so we use high quality, luxurious paper for each issue,
and our readers cherish and keep copies of our publication for
years.
But that’s just one part of our strategy that, in the face of a flagging
print industry, keeps Barista Magazine growing year after year.
another reason for Barista’s success is our willingness to engage
our audience in channels outside of print, connecting with them
where they live now, online and in social media. our fans around
the world read Barista Magazine’s digital version on the go with
their smartphones and ipads. they follow our blog, pasteboard,
and we interact with them on a daily basis through our facebook
and twitter accounts, which combined have more than three
times as many active followers as any other coffee publication.
it’s our exhaustive mission to provide the thousands of successful
café owners we serve with the best, most relevant and timely
educational and feature stories available, and we are proud to
serve our advertisers with the same gusto. We’re committed to
delivering not only the highest quality of customer service to our
advertisers, but the best potential customers in the form of our
loyal, educated, forward-thinking readership.
