Tokyo, Japan (June 1, 2011) – BASF Pozzolith Japan today launched
2 exclusive superplastiziers for Smart Dynamic Concrete, Gleniu
6500 (standard type) and Glenium ® 6550 (retarding type), to the ready-
mix concrete market. Customers can now order from our 16 sales
offices nationwide. The new super-fluid concrete concept of Smart
Dynamic Concrete was introduced earlier this year in a demonstration
to opinion leaders and acknowledged as an important innovation for
ready mix concrete in the Construction Industry..

the cement paste, just like a flowing matrix, which bring aggregate
flow, allowing concrete to achieve outstanding fluidity and stability
without segregation and bleeding as well as unaffected setting times
and strength developments of the concrete.
Smart Dynamic Concrete concept offers “3E” benefits to multiple
stakeholders in the construction value chain:
� “Economical”: 1) less cement in concrete; 2) over 50% manpower
reduction during placing of the concrete and 3) the faster
construction, hence total construction cost savings.
� “Ecological”: less cement in concrete means less CO2 emissions
