The German Data Protection Act instructs in article 4g that the data protection <strong>of</strong>ficial must, when<br />
appropriate, make the following information available to everybody, in accordance with article 4e:<br />

4. Grounds for the collection, processing or use <strong>of</strong> data:<br />
<strong>ALMO</strong>-<strong>Erzeugnisse</strong> <strong>Erwin</strong> <strong>Busch</strong> <strong>GmbH</strong> is an international company which produces and distributes medical<br />
expendable syringes.<br />
The collection, processing and use <strong>of</strong> data is carried out for the purposes stated above.<br />
5. Description <strong>of</strong> the groups <strong>of</strong> people affected, the data concerned and data categories:<br />
Customer data, the data <strong>of</strong> our staff, job applicants and retired employees as well as data from suppliers and<br />
companies, provided that it is required for the purposes stated under Point 4.<br />
6. Recipients or categories <strong>of</strong> recipients with whom the data can be shared:<br />
<strong>Official</strong> bodies with overriding legal provisions, external contractors in accordance with article 11 <strong>of</strong> the German<br />
Data Protection Act, external bodies and internal divisions <strong>of</strong> <strong>ALMO</strong>-<strong>Erzeugnisse</strong> <strong>Erwin</strong> <strong>Busch</strong> <strong>GmbH</strong> as well as B.<br />
Braun as an external service provider for the purposes stated under Point 4.<br />
7. Fixed terms for deleting data:<br />
The legislator is to decree multifarious terms and obligations to retain data. After the expiry <strong>of</strong> these terms, the<br />
applicable data can be deleted if it is no longer required for the fulfilment <strong>of</strong> a contract, for corporate purposes or<br />
if due to necessary legal requirements. Should the data have fiscal relevance, there is a retention period <strong>of</strong> ten<br />
years.<br />
8. Intended forwarding <strong>of</strong> data to third parties:<br />
We currently do not intend to forward data to third parties, and in all other respects the applicable legal<br />
requirements have been established and complied with, in accordance with the valid German Data Protection Act in<br />
its relative current version.<br />

9. Data processing security:<br />
Personnel who are involved in the processing <strong>of</strong> data undertake in written form to comply with data secrecy (article<br />
5 <strong>of</strong> the German Data Protection Act).<br />
All data is technologically protected against unauthorised access (admission controls/entry controls / access<br />
controls in accordance with article 4e sentence 1 No. 9 <strong>of</strong> the German Data Protection Act), for which the<br />
necessary technical measures are constantly being upgraded.<br />
