adventure tour. If you’re into backpacking,<br />
you’ll find a variety of sightseeing <strong>packages</strong><br />
to choose from. If you prefer to travel in<br />
comfort, there are many <strong>packages</strong> to suit<br />
your needs. Either way you’ll have a holiday<br />
full of cultural experiences, not to mention<br />
sun, sea and sand.<br />
S.V. Spirit of the Pacific<br />
A beautiful 33-metre square-rigged top sail schooner with<br />
the capacity to hold up to 40 passengers.<br />
Drawaqa Barefoot Lodge<br />
Drawaqa is a palm-fringed atoll nestled at the southern<br />
end of the Yasawa Islands. The lodge offers stunning<br />
coral gardens right off the beach, where you can snorkel,<br />
kayak and swim with graceful manta rays.<br />
There are just 20 bures, accommodating a maximum of<br />
40 guests. Built and thatched in traditional style by local<br />
villagers, the accommodation is traditional, rustic and<br />
absolute waterfront with communal showers and toilets,<br />
and no electricity in bures.<br />

Safari Lodge<br />

A great opportunity to enjoy soft eco-tourism and a<br />
cultural experience on an active but relaxing adventure.<br />
You’ll enjoy kayaking in peaceful tropical waters,<br />
snorkelling and <strong>Fiji</strong>an village welcomes for a different and<br />
exciting view of <strong>Fiji</strong>. The distances covered each day are<br />
not great so if you have never sea-kayaked before, this is<br />
the perfect introduction. These tours operate from<br />
Rakiraki on the Sun Coast of <strong>Fiji</strong> where you can escape<br />
from the tourist destinations.<br />
Accommodation and meals<br />
Safari Lodge <strong>Fiji</strong> accommodation on tour is in traditional<br />
<strong>Fiji</strong>an bures, or if you prefer tent accommodation.<br />
Mattresses and linen are supplied, but you should bring<br />
your sleeping bag. Meals are prepared and transported<br />
daily by the Ellington Wharf Restaurant.<br />

Itinerary<br />
3 days/2 nights<br />
Day 1: Denarau - Drawaqa Barefoot Resort<br />
Depart Denarau Marina aboard the tall ship, Spirit of the<br />
Pacific. Cruise through the Yasawa Islands, where you<br />
can swim, snorkel or just relax. Arrive at the beautiful<br />
Drawaqa Island, where you will spend both nights.<br />
Day 2: Drawaqa Barefoot Resort<br />
Spend the day cruising on the Spirit of the Pacific. Swim,<br />
snorkel, fish, sunbathe, trek overland, kayak or just laze<br />
around. Learn traditional crafts from basket weaving to<br />
farming. In the evening return to the resort.<br />
Day 3: Drawaqa Barefoot Resort - Denarau<br />
Discover the fascinating Yasawa Islands as you sail.<br />
Return to Denarau Marina at 4.00pm.<br />

Day 1: Rakiraki - Safari Lodge<br />
After the safety instructions, paddle out from Ellington<br />
Wharf. Stop at beaches and enjoy the relaxed pace of<br />
kayaking. Paddle to Nananu-I-Cake & Dolphin Island<br />
to Nananu-I-Ra Island and enjoy a relaxing afternoon.<br />
Try snorkelling.<br />
Overnight: Safari Lodge<br />
Day 2: Safari Lodge - Japanese Island<br />
Paddle around the islands, snorkel over pristine coral<br />
beds, swim or just laze on sandy beaches. Meet the<br />
welcoming villagers and enjoy kava with the elders.<br />
Lunch on a deserted beach and relax.<br />
Overnight: Japanese Island<br />
Day 3: Japanese Island - Rakiraki<br />
Climb the hill for sunrise; enjoy a tropical breakfast,<br />
farewell your new friends. Enjoy snorkelling around the<br />
reef, relaxing and after lunch return to the wharf.<br />
NOTE: Tour not recommended for children under 10 years.<br />
