Darlene Staffeldt, State Librarian Dear Friends: I hope that you’ll find this directory helpful for a variety of purposes. To improve the accuracy and the currency of the directory, we have only published full information from libraries that have updated their listing within the last three years. Thank you to those library staff members who took the time to do so. Libraries that have not updated their listing in the last three years have a partial listing consisting of the library name, mailing address, and phone number. This year we have also included the date when the information was last updated. If the library has never updated the date field reads N/A. Updating your library’s information is easy – just follow these easy steps: • Go to: http://montanalibraries.org/Directory/Main/mldHome.asp • Click the "Edit" button. • Use the drop-down lists to narrow the search for your library, and then click the "Search" button. • Click on the name of your library; this will get you to your library's login screen. • Enter the password that you use to access your library's directory. • Click on the "Login" button; this will get you to the Main Menu. • Click on menu item: "Update your library information." This will bring you to the Library Update screen. As in past years, MSL provides each library that updated their listing within the time allowed with one paper copy of the directory. If you would like more copies, we also offer this publication online. To access the online version, visit our website at http://msl.mt.gov and click on the Online Publications icon. You can choose to print the directory by selecting the “Montana Library Directory - PDF” link. If you wish to browse the directory online, choose the “Montana Library Directory Online Database” link. We encourage you and your staff members to use these online versions. We welcome your questions and comments about this publication.
