Elishililia Alex in Tanzania has been
trained to use better techniques to
fertilize and protect her maize. She has
more than doubled her crop yield.
Harpal Singh, a smallholder farmer in
northern India, has used a new advisory
service delivered to his mobile phone
through a CABI partnership with mobile
service providers. His earnings have
increased by 50% and his sugarcane
harvest, threatened by a serious aphid
attack, was saved.
