UMO 151
The Unit Movement Officers Course
provides unit deployment Officers and
NCOs’ at Company or Battery level
with the ability to plan, organize and
conduct company size unit movements,
training and operations. This course
covers the responsibilities of Company
and Battery Movement Officers and
NCOs’. This course is a 10 day resident
course in Vilseck and taught via Mobile
Training Team (MTT) throughout out
Europe.
UMO 152
Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Airlift Planners
Course (ALPC) is designed to educate
Unit Movement Officers and NCOs in
airlift planning and the
execution of joint
airlift operations.
ALPC orients the
students to the Air
Mobility
Command
Structure, covers
Airlift preparation, the
principles of load planning and airlift
safety. The course is 8 days taught via
MTT by the Air Force in Vilseck,
throughout Europe and the United States.
UMO 153
Automated Air Load Planning System
(AALPS) is designed to expedite the
planning process for Air load planners.
The course is based on the Air Load
Planner Course (UMO 152) and teaches
students how to
use an automated
system to
accomplish the
same load
planning
calculations taught
in ALPC. This is a
5 day resident
course in Vilseck and can be taught via
MTT throughout Europe.
