situated.
Afternoon enjoy a fantastic ski plane flight which

4 | Mt Cook - Queenstown
This morning enjoy Glacier Explorers Boat trip to
see the Tasman Glacier upclose. Afternoon travel
south bound along the shores of lake Pukaki to
Twizel, then through the Central Otago region to
reach the Alpine resort of Queenstown.

Follow the southern arm of Lake Wakatipu to
Lumsden and drive onward to Lake Te Anau.
Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through
the breathtaking man-made Homer Tunnel to
reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise on this world
famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the
cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown by
self drive.

Picnic On a peak near Queenstown. Today take an
exclusive flight into the Breathtaking Wilderness

8 | Franz Josef Glacier
Depart Queenstown today. Soon you will have
yourself driving along the shores of Lake Wanaka
and later Lake Hawea. Turn into the Haast Pass,

Park, and continue north through the spectacular
mountain ranges and native forests to the Glacier
Region. Past the township of Fox Glacier and
arrive at Franz Josef Glacier. Upon arrival, relax

Morning drop off your rental car and board the
Tranz Alpine Train. Ascend through lush green
forests and Arthur Pass and cross the Southern
