famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the

to say what you find most breathtaking about the 

eternal city. Time permitting you may choose to 

take an optional tour of the Vatican Museum and 

Sistine Chapel.

Today after breakfast, enjoy Hop on Hop off tour 

of Rome. Toss a coin and make a wish at the Trevi 

Fountain, walk through the Bernini sqaure in the 

one sqare mile of the Vatican city or just enjoy a 

cup of coffee on the Spanish Steps. 


3 | Naples & Capri 

Today after breakfast, set of for a romantic & 

picturesque journey to “The Island of Dreams”. In 

the gulf of Naples we find the Isle of Capri, the pearl 

of the Mediterranean Sea. 45 minute crossing to 

Marina Grande, the port of Capri. Here you will 

then board motorboats and enter the Blue Grotto 

(if weather and sea conditions permit). Minibuses 

are then used for a panoramic tour eventually 

arriving at Anacapri situated at 280 meters above 

sea level from where you will have a wonderful 

view of the Bay of Naples. After lunch in a local 

restaurant, you will then have some free time to 

take unforgettable photographs and purchase 

local products before returning to Marina Grande 

to board the boat back to Naples. Entering the 

port of Naples, don’t miss this opportunity to 

admire the splendid Maschio Angioino (a fortress 

of the12th century), the Certosa of San Martino 

and the Royal Palace. After disembarking you 

will then take the coach for the return journey of 

approx. 3 hours, back to Rome.

Venice Today after breakfast, travel by train to 

the city of canals, Venice. In the afternoon walk 

in the famous St. Mark square, see the historic 

Ducal Palace, the infamous prison, the Bridge of 

Sighs, the exquisite clock tower and the baroque 

splendour of St. Mark’s Basilica as you explore 

Venice on your own. In the evening, music for 

your ears and for your soul, enjoy an original 

Venitian orchestra in a most solemn and relaxing

This morning after breakfast, depart for a tour of 

Murano Glass Factory where you will learn about 

the process and history of glass-making in Venice; 

and the Church of San Mary & Donato which 

boasts a magnificent mosaic pavement laid 

down in the 12th century. Your trip to Venice is 

incomplete without a romantic ride on the famous 

gondola. Join a flotilla of gondolas gathered 

around a barge containing the musicians and 

singers to float along the fascinating Grand Canal.

ELIGIBILITY 

Persons fulfilling the criteria set by relevant provisions of law 

relating to foreign exchange in India and R. B. I. Rules, whose 

passport is valid for at least six months subsequent to the date 

of departure of the tour and have been granted relevant visas 

to reach the point of commencement of the tour are eligible 

to book on the tour. 

BOOKING AMOUNT 

At the time of booking you must be in possession of original 

passport(s) valid for travel. You are urged to read the 

suggested itinerary in the brochure and the booking terms 

and conditions on the reverse of the booking form before 

filling and signing it. On payment of the non-refundable 

interest free booking amount mentioned on the booking 

form you will be issued an official receipt from us. The Booking 

Form, Invoice and the Receipt shall be binding on the parties 

and shall constitute a contract between the parties. The nonrefundable 

interest free booking amount paid by you will 

be adjusted towards the cost of the tour. Please also refer to 

relevant section of booking conditions for rules of forfeiture 

of booking amount. 

All payments for the tour including booking amount should 

be made in favour of ‘Kuoni Travel (India) Private Limited’ 

when you book at SOTC Holiday World Outlets and SOTC 

Franchisee ou lets. If you route your booking through your 

own travel agent you should remit only the booking amount 

through the travel agent and pay the balance amount directly 

to and in the name of Kuoni Travel (India) Private Limited. 

SECURE YOUR BOOKING AMOUNT 

You can secure your non-refundable booking amount by 

paying a nominal fee of Rs. 1,000 per person. In the unlikely 

event of you cancelling the tour 21 days prior to the departure 

this scheme protects your interest free non refundable 

booking amount against cancellation charges. This scheme 

does not cover your booking amount if the cancellation 

is done less than 21 days prior to the departure. Secure 

your Booking amount scheme covers cancellations due to 

following unforeseen circumstances viz. 

• Death in the immediate family 

• Major accident to self or immediate family member 

• Major Sickness where travel is not permitted under medical 

advice , each of the cause duly supported by documentary 

evidence OR 

• Acts of God like Quake, Tsunami etc OR 

• Government advisory against travel to the destination 

country due to terrorist attacks, political unrest or from 

International Medical Association against outbreak of 

epidemic etc 

However cost incurred by the company for doing the visa 

whether granted or rejected will not be covered under this 

scheme upon cancellation for any of the above reasons. 

INVOICE & BALANCE PAYMENT 

Your invoice will mention the due date for payment of the 

balance tour cost including the foreign exchange component 

of the tour. Your travel documents and airline tickets (if done 

through us), can be released only after receipt of full and final 

payment including the foreign exchange component of the 

tour cost. Delay in adhering to the final date advised to you for 

full payment would result in the cancellation of your seat on 

the Tour and levy of Cancellation Charges. Hence the balance 

payment has to reach us as per the schedule mentioned in 

your Invoice. 

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS 

It is your responsibility to hold valid travel documents such 

as Passport, Visa & confirmed Air ticket to be able to travel. 

Your passport should be valid for a period of at least 6 months 

from the date of travel & for Visa it is mandatory, convenient 

& safe to have the application/s to Consulates / Authorities 

routed through us. Please check with the outlet where you 

book if there is sufficient time to process the visa well ahead 

of your departure date. You will be required to submit along 

with your visa application a set of documents as mentioned 

in the documentation checklist given to you at the time of 

booking. The Company would not be responsible in any way 

for any clerical error regarding names, attachment of wrong 

photographs, duration, and type of visa (single / multiple 

entry) that may occur in the consulate / embassy. Please 

note that as it is entirely at the discretion of the concerned 

Consulates / Authorities to grant / reject your visa and 

immigration clearance. We shall neither be responsible for 

non-granting of visa nor liable for any delay, denial or other 

related act/omission or for any loss, expense, damage or cost 

resulting there from. Further the company should not be 

held liable in case of loss of documents given by you to us in 

support of your visa application as the same are forwarded 

by us to the concerned consulate / embassy through third 

parties. In such case we will make our best efforts to trace 

the lost documents and if still the same are not traceable we 

will assist you in obtaining alternative / certified copies of 

the thus lost documents from concerned authorities. If you 

already possess the required visa/s or are doing visa/s on your 

own you are requested to check with us ahead of departure, 

the validity and the entries allowed per country as per your 

chosen itinerary . 

URGENT VISA FEES 

All your documents for processing your visas must reach 

us15 days prior to your departure date. Failure to do so would 

attract an Urgent Visa Fees of Rs. 1,000 per person. The same 

is also applicable for all fresh bookings done within 15 days 

to your departure. However, payment of Urgent Visa fee does 

not guarantee issuance of Visa. 

TRAVEL INSURANCE 

It is extremely important for you to be in possession of valid 

Overseas Travel Insurance for the duration of your tour. Further 

it is mandatory for you to buy it from an insurance company 

identified and named by us that will cover risks of medical 

emergencies, personal accident, loss of baggage, and travel 

documents etc while on the tour. Persons of 60 years and 

above are required to submit additional medical test reports 

and certificates at the discretion of the Insurance Company. 

You will need to carry the insurance policy document with 

you on the tour. In cases of errors in the insurance policy or 

non-receipt of the insurance policy along with final travel 

documents, please immediately contact the company / agent 

from where you had booked your tour and get the same 

corrected / issued, as the company cannot be held liable for 

anything happening on the tour due to absence of valid travel 

insurance cover. 

BASIC TRAVEL QUOTA 

Under the present guidelines of RBI, all residents holding 

Indian passports are entitled to avail an amt. not exceeding 

US$ 10,000 or its equivalent per person in one calendar year 

for one or more private / leisure visits under the Basic Travel 

Quota (BTQ). However the traveler cannot avail in excess of 

US$ 2,000 or its equivalent by way of cash. 

It is mandatory for you to avail the foreign exchange 

component of the tour cost from under your BTQ entitlement 

from Authorized dealer designated & named by us. You shall 

pay the foreign exchange component of the total tour cost at 

the prevailing rate to the dealer along with signed BTQ form 

& A2 form. The Company would forward the said forms to the 

Authorized Dealer to release the amount of required foreign 

exchange component of the tour cost to the Company as a 

part of your BTQ. 

You can draw foreign exchange for your personal use on 

tour from the same authorized dealer from your balance 

BTQ entitlement. This is as per GOI rules & regulations. You 

may carry this partly in currency, partly in traveler cheques 

(TC) which are safer and easily encashed for a small service 

fee. They can also be replaced if they are stolen or lost, if you 

record TC numbers and retain counterfoil subject to the rules 

applicable. 

AMENDMENTS 

After the initial booking and confirmation of services by us for 

you, in the event of any amendment you wish to make; such 

as change of destination, change of departure date, addition 

or deletion of services, change in passenger numbers or such 

other change you will need to make a written request and 

obtain an acknowledgment on the same from our sales officer. 

The amendments may invite further cost which will have to 

be borne by you. Further, such requests are accepted by us 

subject to availability of necessary time ahead of departure as 

also availability of seats and rooms. 

In customized holidays, usually all transfers and sightseeing 

tours are provided by Seat-in-coach (SIC) basis. SIC are seats 

in a coach on a shared basis and operate at specific time. 

Passengers can pay additional and upgrade their transfers / 

sightseeing on private basis which are usually provided in a 

combi van. 

Post booking once the services are reconfirmed any 

amendments done between 5 to 7 days prior to departure 

from the customers end will attract amendment charges of 

Rs. 500/- per person over and above the emended cost if any. 

HANDOVER OF DOCUMENTS 

After receipt of your full and final payment, you will be 

delivered our docket containing, Air Ticket (when purchased 

through us), Travel insurance (when availed through us) and 

Final invoice (Tour Confirmation Voucher) listing services 

you are entitled to on the tour. You will also be provided 

with a briefing sheet containing important / emergency 

contact details for your use. Ensure that you are carrying the 

above documents and your passport with all necessary visa 

endorsements before leaving on your tour. 

AIRLINE TICKETS 

Where you purchase your air tickets through us, the 

confirmations on airline and / or class of travel as requested 

(Economy/First/Business class etc) will be subject to 

availability of the same for the destinations chosen by you. 

Air tickets will be delivered along with other documents 

provided we have received full payment including foreign 

currency component. 

AIRLINE “CHANGE IN RESERVATION FEE” 

It is absolutely necessary to have your return air seats to India 

confirmed prior to your departure from India. Passengers 

wishing to change their return reservations to India after 

departure will have to pay “Change in Reservation Fee” 

directly to the airline, subject to availability of seats in the 

same booking class. This fee could range from US$ 75 to US$ 

150 per person depending upon the airline. 

CANCELLATION 

If you want to cancel your tour booking for any reason, you 

must intimate in writing to the Company and deliver it to 

the concerned officer you are dealing with at the sales outlet 

where you booked and obtain an acknowledgment. The 

letter must clearly mention the names of all passengers who 

want their bookings to be cancelled along with the reason 

for cancellation. The computation of the period of notice of 

cancellation shall commence only from the time the written 

request reached the Company at its sales office. In case of 

cancellation, the following cancellation charges would apply: 

When a Cancellation is made Charges 

45 days or more prior to the departure of the 

Tour or for non payment of the Balance amount Rs. 15,000/- 

44 to 15 days prior to 

the departure of the Tour 50% of Holiday Cost 

14 to 04 day prior to 

the departure of the Tour 75% of Holiday Cost 

03 day prior to the departure of the Tour or 100% of Holiday Cost 

in case you are a “No Show” on the Tour 

Further for the purpose of this clause, cancellation can be due 

to any reason whatsoever including the reason of inability to 

participate due to any reason including illness, death, court 

orders, non-availability of travel documents etc. As per the 

Booking Conditions, we are constrained to levy the aforesaid 

Cancellation Charges in addition to the actual expenditure 

incurred towards visa , travel insurance, retention charges by 

overseas supplier etc. Company reserves the right to cancel 

a tour departure without assigning any reason. Under such 

circumstances amount paid by you will be refunded forthwith 

after deducting the actual expenses incurred by us like visa, 

travel insurance etc in INR only but no compensation is 

payable. 

REFUNDS 

Refunds (if any) for amendments and/or cancellations will be 

paid directly to you by the concerned SOTC Holiday world 

Outlets & SOTC Franchisee outlets from where you booked. 

It would take 45 days to process refunds. In cases where an 

airline ticket is issued, it would take 60 days to process the 

refund subject to clearance from the airlines concerned. In 

case of refund of Foreign Currency component, the refund 

shall be made in Indian Rupees only at the prevailing rate on 

the date of refund as per existing Rules and regulations. It is 

clearly understood that there shall be no refund whatsoever 

if you do not or cannot utilize any of the services like hotels, 

sightseeing, rides, cruises, meals, entrance fees, optional 

tours etc due to any reason whatsoever.
