PURCHASER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS OF SALE
1. Under no circumstances will this cat/kitten be declawed before four (4) months of age.
2. Under no circumstances will this cat/kitten be sold, leased or given to any pet shop, research laboratory or
similar facility.
3. Adequate indoor, sanitary facilities will be provided and this cat/kitten will not be allowed to roam outdoors.
4. If this cat/kitten is found neglected or in ill health for an unreasonable length of time, PURCHASER will
surrender said cat to BREEDER/SELLER unconditionally.
5. This cat/kitten has been vaccinated against Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis, and Calici Virus on ___________
and ____________. Additional vaccinations are due on _____________. Failure to provide all necessary
vaccinations will render the Health Guarantee null and void. Other vaccinations given: ________________.
6. HEALTH GUARANTEE: PURCHASER is receiving a healthy cat/kitten, free of internal/external parasites
and all infectious disease or congenital defects. PURCHASER must have his/her own veterinarian inspect said
cat/kitten within three (3) working days of delivery and if any sign of illness is found, PURCHASER must
contact BREEDER/SELLER immediately and may, at PURCHASER’S option, either:
1) Return said cat/kitten to BREEDER/SELLER for full refund; or
2) Return said cat/kitten to BREEDER/SELLER for replacement cat/kitten if available; or
3) Take cat/kitten to BREEDER/SELLER’S choice of veterinarian for a second opinion, in which case
BREEDER/SELLER will pay all reasonable costs. If any veterinarian other than the
BREEDER/SELLER’S choice institutes treatment, this guarantee is null and void.
7. A one-year Health Guarantee will cover congenital defects or death by natural causes. A replacement cat/kitten
will be provided when available upon submission of a complete necropsy report including the results of blood
work, tissue samples, etc. (a visual autopsy is not acceptable) with a signed veterinarian statement including a
description of the symptoms to support the opinion. No cash refunds are given after the initial three (3) working
days after delivery of said cat/kitten. The PURCHASER will not be reimbursed for any expenses incurred
while the cat/kitten was in the PURCHASER’S care. The one-year Health Guarantee does not cover conditions
stemming from the PURCHASER’S neglect, illnesses or accidents the cat/kitten came in contact with while in
the PURCHASER’S care, including blood transfusions and death due to surgical procedures. This guarantee is
for one year from date of delivery and applies only to the original PURCHASER. To qualify for the guarantee,
the PURCHASER must keep the cat/kitten under the regular care of a veterinarian and provide proof of annual
vaccinations.

8. If PURCHASER qualifies for a replacement cat/kitten, a reasonable period of time (160 days or less) will be
required for the BREEDER/SELLER to provide the replacement. The replacement cat/kitten will be the same
sex, and the BREEDER/SELLER will attempt to match color, but cannot guarantee the same color or age.
Replacement of the same color within the 160-day period may not be possible and could take slightly longer.
9. If purchased as a pet, PURCHASER agrees to neuter or spay the cat/kitten between the ages of eight (8) months
and one (1) year after birth, or within thirty (30) days if already an adult, and agrees that this cat/kitten will not
be used for stud or breeding. BREEDER/SELLER agrees to provide registration papers and pedigree of this
cat/kitten upon presentation of a veterinarian’s certificate of spaying or neutering.
10. BREEDER/SELLER does guarantee a cat/kitten sold for SHOWING or BREEDING purposes will reproduce at
a sexually mature age. Some males or females may be two (2) years or slightly older before producing
offspring. If the sexually mature cat is not producing offspring, the PURCHASER will need to provide a signed
veterinarian statement including a description of the symptoms to support the opinion.
11. If the cat/kitten has been purchased for SHOWING or BREEDING, the BREEDER/SELLER will categorize its
breeding quality and predict its show potential, but NO GUARANTEES are provided with respect to show
success.
12. Cats/kittens sold for BREEDING are for exclusive use in the PURCHASER’S breeding program. The
PURCHASER agrees that this cat/kitten will never be leased, sold, nor sent to another cattery or individual for
stud service or to be used at stud. PURCHASER agrees that this cat/kitten will never be co-owned with anyone
outside the PURCHASER’S immediate household other than Moppetland Persians. Any situation in which this
cat/kitten does not reside with the PURCHASER will be interpreted as a direct violation of this clause, and the
BREEDER/SELLER is released from any and all obligations of this contract. The PURCHASER, however, is
not released from complying with the other clauses contained in this contract, including but not limited to
payment of the full purchase price. Any monies previously paid to the BREEDER/SELLER will not be
refunded to the PURCHASER.
13. When the PURCHASER does not need this cat any longer, the BREEDER/SELLER must be contacted.
BREEDER/SELLER has first option to receive the cat/kitten back. This cat/kitten can never be re-sold as a
whole breeding cat. If the BREEDER/SELLER chooses not to take back the cat/kitten, PURCHASER agrees
that the cat/kitten MUST BE SPAYED/NEUTERED before being placed in any other home or cattery for any
reason. BREEDER/SELLER is not required to refund any monies. Any and all guarantees and responsibilities
of the BREEDER/SELLER, including refunds and/or replacement are strictly between the undersigned
PURCHASER and BREEDER/SELLER and are not to be considered transferable to any third party.
14. By signing this contract, PURCHASER and BREEDER/SELLER are in full agreement with all of the above
terms. In the event that the PURCHASER violates this agreement, the damages of $5,000 plus legal fees shall
be payable to Nancy Terreault. Sole jurisdiction and venue for any legal dispute shall be in the State of Florida,
County of Palm Beach.
15. I have read the above, all of which I understand and accept.
16. This written agreement is the entire agreement between the PURCHASER and the BREEDER/SELLER listed
below. The PURCHASER shall not rely on any verbal statements, particularly about cash refunds or payments
of veterinarian for services rendered.
17. OTHER CONDITIONS:
ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE
