„Heco distributes the load over four reflex
tubes, thereby reducing the flow
noise.
The only thing moderate about
the Celan Sub is the price. Its 38
cm bass speaker with polished
cast basket and the control panel
are a real feast for the eyes.
The power amplifier provides 300 watts
sinus power and four solid metal reflex
tubes generate frequencies up to 20
Hertz. The 46 kilo unit is encased in a
piano finish or high-grade wood
and the sound is as elegant as the visual
appearance: extremely profound and
beautifully clean.
The larger Heco looks fabulous and is
similar in terms of size similar as the
Nubert, yet it sounds somewhat more
controlled. The more dignified visual
appearance and the aura of the single
38 cm woofer are convincing features
of the Heco unit. If you want a little bit
of everything and at a more favourable
price, then my tip is represented by the
four letters HECO.“
