Peer-Reviewed Oral, Poster, and
Challenging Case Abstracts
The presentation of original peer-reviewed
research is the basis of scientific discovery,
representing the heart of academic medicine and
offering participants opportunities to interact
with peers in an intimate setting for critical
review prior to manuscript generation.
To emphasize TCT’s belief in the importance
of such research, all accepted abstracts will
be presented in a dedicated four-hour block.
Abstracts, both poster and oral, will be
downloadable during TCT in electronic format
via TCTMD.com and from the cyber center
stations located throughout the Miami Beach
Convention Center. Abstracts are published
in a special supplement of the Journal of the
American College of Cardiology, available in
the attendee meeting bag. New this year, the
top oral abstracts will be available to view
in an interactive format via iPads available
outside the Main Arena. Challenging Case Video
Presentations will be available during the Poster
Abstract Sessions and also on Wednesday and
Thursday. Please see pages 74-105 for complete
