Golden Pirates
Celebrate 50
On Sept. 16, more than 60 alumni and friends of
the Class of 1957 took part in a day of reminiscing
and reconnecting at the Golden Pirates reunion,
sponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations.
Campus tours, led by members of the student
alumni association, showed visitors how the cam-
pus has changed over the past 50 years. In some
cases, it was the first time alumni had been back
to campus since their graduation.
Monsignor James Cafone, alumni chaplain, cele-
brated Mass and delivered a homily in the Chapel
of the Immaculate Conception. And at the reunion
lunch, the 25 alumni in attendance were inducted
into the Golden Pirates group.
