additional classrooms are located on the second floor.<br />

One of these classrooms houses 20 computer<br />

workstations and functions as an additional computer<br />

lab at times when classes are not scheduled there.<br />

The Clara Fritzsche Library also houses two special<br />

collections. The Tolerance Resource Center Collection,<br />

located on the second floor of the Library, houses a<br />

collection of books, videos, journals and posters relating<br />

to the Holocaust, diversity and anti-bias issues. The<br />

Eastern Church Resource Center, located on the first<br />

floor, houses a unique collection of books, videos, and<br />

audio tapes relating to the Eastern Church and<br />

ecumenism. These rooms may also be reserved for<br />

meetings, quiet study or video/DVD viewing.<br />

The Library offers a spacious environment for research<br />

and study and is ADA compliant. Additional work areas<br />

are located on the first and second floors. Study carrels<br />

are scattered throughout the library and provide<br />

additional work areas for students.<br />

The Clara Fritzsche Library is committed to being a<br />

“user-oriented” facility. A helpful and informed staff is<br />

available to provide assistance to all patrons. The Library<br />

offers bibliographic and information technology<br />

instruction programs throughout the year. These include<br />

a general orientation, subject specific instruction and<br />

individual instruction upon request. Interlibrary loan and<br />

rush fax service are provided free of charge if the items<br />

patrons are seeking are not in the Library’s collection.<br />

Through OhioLINK students may request items<br />

themselves using their college I.D. barcode number.<br />

Materials not available through OhioLINK may be<br />

interlibrary loaned from Cleveland Public Library and<br />

other libraries throughout the country and will be<br />

provided in an efficient and timely manner. Library<br />

materials are loaned for a three-week period upon<br />

presentation of a current <strong>Notre</strong> <strong>Dame</strong> I.D. card with an<br />

option for up to four renewals. Items can be sent to the<br />

Clara Fritzsche Library or through the OhioLINK’s Pickup<br />

Anywhere feature to any of the other OhioLINK libraries<br />

if more convenient to the patron. Library patrons may<br />

also use their I.D. to receive borrowing privileges at<br />

more than 100 libraries throughout Ohio, including<br />

Cleveland State University, Kent State University, John<br />

Carroll University and CWRU in addition to the<br />

resources of the 28 branches of Cuyahoga County<br />

Public Library, recently voted the number one library<br />

system in the nation and the fifth busiest.<br />

Responding to the needs of the <strong>College</strong>’s growing<br />

online population, the library recently created online<br />

tutorials for requesting OhioLINK books and retrieving<br />

full text scholarly articles. Emphasis is also given to<br />

being a 24/7 facility. Both traditional and graduate<br />

students can submit reference questions, requests for<br />

assistance with research, interlibrary loan request<br />

questions about their library accounts and report access<br />

problems at any time via e-mail or voice mail messages.<br />

They may also check the status of their <strong>Notre</strong> <strong>Dame</strong><br />

<strong>College</strong> library account at any time using their name<br />

and library account number.<br />

JOSEPH H. KELLER CENTER<br />

The Joseph H. Keller Center is an indoor recreational<br />

facility available for student, staff, faculty and<br />

community use. Located within the facility is a<br />

gymnasium; A 25 yard, six lane pool for collegiate<br />

competition, water exercise and lap swimming; six<br />

locker rooms, weight room, training room and<br />

coaches offices.<br />

REGINA HALL<br />

The <strong>College</strong> recently acquired the former Regina High<br />

School property, greatly expanding the number of<br />

classrooms and labs, accommodating faculty offices,<br />

and using the gymnasium and auditorium to support<br />

the <strong>College</strong>’s increasing demands for larger<br />

accommodations for meetings and special events.<br />

The property adds an exciting new dimension to the<br />

<strong>College</strong> in every respect, from accommodating future<br />

enrollment growth to enhancing academic offerings and<br />

expanding housing, athletic, cultural and social<br />

activities. Future plans call for using the Regina property<br />

in a way that will enhance the <strong>College</strong>’s goal of being<br />

one of the finest colleges in the Great Lakes Region.
