APPROVED SCHEDULE CSI5*-W/CDI5*/CAI-W Stuttgart 2007 SECOND DAY - Saturday DATE: 17/11/2007 COMPETITION No 16 Time obstacle competition with two rounds Rating competition for the FEI World Cup TM 2007/2008 Admitted drivers: In the first round the same drivers as in class 15 are admitted. Same course as in class 15. Second shortened round is open only to the best three drivers from the 1 st round. Judged under: Table A acc. to Art. 967 with two rounds Both rounds will be carried out as time competitions (Art. 967), the penalty points will be converted into seconds. The scale of penalties is as follows: - Dislodging one ore two balls in the same single obstacle penalty seconds 5 - Knocking over or down any element of a Marathon type obstacle 5 - Causing an obstacle to be rebuilt (clock stops) 5 - Each groom or driver dismounting 1st or 2nd time (clock does not stop) 5 - Groom uses the reins or the brake 5 - Wrong course in a Marathon type obstacle, corrected 5 - First or second disobedience Eliminations: no penalties - Groom(s) or driver dismounting 3rd time elimination - Third disobedience elimination - Wrong course single obstacle (sequence or direction) elimination - Wrong course, not corrected, in Marathon type obstacles elimination - Failing to pass through the starting or finishing flags elimination - Carriage turnover elimination - Active use of the whip by the groom elimination After ringing the bell the driver has 45 seconds to start his course; even if he has not started, the clock starts to run. For the placing in the FEI World Cup TM competition, the time in the 1 st and 2 nd round are added for the top 3 drivers. For the other drivers the time in the first round decides.
