Auckland Zoo Conservation
Conservation is at the heart of Auckland Zoo. Ask any staff member, and they will tell you what drives them is their passion
for conservation – the ability to make a difference to wildlife and the environment, and to inspire others to do the same.
Auckland Zoo supports in situ (field) conservation projects nationally and internationally. The Zoo is also actively involved in
many other conservation activities – through ex situ (on‐site) Native Breeding and research programmes. Check out our
website www.aucklandzoo.co.nz to see the different projects Auckland Zoo supports and how your special day can make a
difference for these animals.
