The Banqueting House
One of England’s earliest classical buildings, built in
Palladian style for James I with the magnificent
Rubens ceiling and glittering chandeliers – the
Banqueting House is the perfect venue for your civil
ceremony and reception.
It adds a certain thrill to walk in the footsteps of kings
and queens; to invite your friends and family to toast
your future happiness just as courtiers would have
done hundreds of years ago.
Their events team can advise on every aspect of
hosting your civil ceremony and reception at the
Banqueting House, helping you to enjoy a wonderful
day that will become one of the highlights of your own
family history.
The Banqueting House can accommodate receptions
for up to 450 guests in the Main Hall, and the vaulted
Undercroft is perfect for cocktails and dancing for up to
380 guests.
