Jordan Fencing Federation to invite you to live one of the historical moments by giving your 

fencers the chance to participate in major sport event, 2011 Junior / Cadet World Fencing 

Championship which will be hosted in almost of 400 Mt below sea level area which located in 

the heart of the globe THE DEAD SEA.

7. Entries: 

The entries for the fencers have to be made directly on the website of the F.I.E. 

according to the art. o.53.2 – Organization Rules 

Preliminary entry (by event and numbers): This form (Annex 1) has to be 

received by the Organization Committee according to the art. o.53.1 – Organization 

Rules 

Entry form for officials and accompanying person (by name): This form 

(Annex 2) has to reach the Organization Committee until 10 of MARCH, 2011 

8. Equipments: 

All the fencers should be equipped in accordance with F.I.E. rules. 

They have to prevent their equipment at the weapon control the day before their 

competition. 

9. Anti - Doping Control: 

The anti – doping control will be executed according to the F.I.E Rules 

10. Entry Fee: 

The entry fee is to be paid at the moment of the accreditation as follows: 

� Individual event 55 Euro / person / event. 

� Team event 140 Euro / team / event. 

11. Accreditation: 

For each athlete, coach and member of delegation a photo should be sent as 

"jpg". 

The photos should be 

- 640 pixel high and 480 pixel wide 

- taken with an unicolored black or blue background 

- A portrait photo 

- And named, for example: stev _Adrian _poul .jpg.

12. Entry visa: 

If your country is one of the countries that don’t need a previous approval as 

listed below you can obtain the visa at Queen Alia International Airport noting that 

the cost of visa fees is of 30$ (USD Dollar). 

If your country is one of the countries that need a previous approval as listed 

below you have to apply for the visa thought the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan 

Embassy at your country. 

In order to obtain a visa, participants are requested to present at Embassies 

of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in their countries or at Queen alia airport the 

invitation letter and filled visa application form. For getting this invitation letter, 

please, send by e-mail ( visa@dedsea2011.com) or fax (+962 6 568 11 64) the 

visa form (Annex 5) within 20 February, 2011. 

For more information about visa apply process and Embassies address, 

please visit the internet address of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hashemite 

kingdom of Jordan www.moi.gov.jo 

Approval will be needed for visa applications from nationals of the countries listed below. Therefore, 

please allow 4-6 weeks for your application to be processed.
