The following outlines the two octavos for the Vocal Ensemble Performance Festival at the State Contest:<br />

� Keep Your Lamps Trimmed and Burning, Unison, optional descant, arr. by John Helgen, Augsburg<br />

Voice Teachers should order this music right away so students have time to learn the music in<br />
preparation for State. The music can be ordered through Groth Music in Bloomington, MN. Their phone<br />
number is 952-884-4772.<br />
Voice Teachers, just a reminder, you are responsible to purchase the ensemble music for your students.<br />
Students must have the original music to participate in the Vocal Ensemble Performance in <strong>February</strong>.<br />
Copies are not allowed.<br />
We are also pleased to welcome back Al Hawkins as the Director for Voice Ensemble. Thank you.<br />
Intermediate A<br />
� “Serenata de Siero” will NOT be permanently out of print due to demand here in Minnesota. Also:<br />
the “c” in the final measure (ms. 53) should be changed to a “d” to fit the arpeggiated chords.<br />
This change has been confirmed with the publisher (FJH) and they will correct it in<br />
subsequent printings.<br />
� “Waltz in A Minor, Op. 12 No. 2” by Grieg: Please make sure to purchase the ALFRED EDITION.<br />
